List of US States by Percentage of Those Who Vote

This article is great because it gives you raw data. This list shows the voter turnout in the 2008 election.

That aforementioned public from the previous post, the one that tunes into Comedy Central for alternate news or browses The Onion for laughs, also doesn't seem to like to vote. This is best observed by all those "Get The Vote Out!" campaigns to try and motivate younger people to vote and actually care about politics.

What this list seems to evoke the most however, is that one reason that public seems to not really care to vote is because the methodology of voting is still so traditional. Even outdated, some would argue.
